Wood has always spoken to me. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I was surrounded by towering Douglas firs and ancient cedars. After a decade working in corporate design, I returned to my first love: working with my hands. In my workshop, I transform reclaimed and sustainably-harvested wood into functional art pieces. Each cutting board, serving tray, and decorative piece showcases the natural beauty of the grain, celebrating imperfections and the unique character of each piece of wood. I use traditional joinery techniques passed down through generations, combined with modern design sensibilities. My process is meditative—I spend hours hand-sanding each piece to a silky finish, applying food-safe oils that bring out the wood's natural luster. I believe furniture and home goods should last a lifetime, becoming more beautiful with use and age. Every piece that leaves my workshop carries a part of the forest with it.
